List of nominees for 2012 NCLR ALMA Awards

The NCLR will kickoff Hispanic Heritage Month with its 2012 ALMA Awards, highlighting Latino entertainers who have promoted Hispanic culture in the media. Eva Longoria and George Lopez will host the event that includes a star-powered list of presenters including Jessica Alba and Mario Lopez, with performances by Pitbull, Demi Lovato, Gloria Estefan and others.
Stars like Jennifer Lopez, Salma Hayek and Andy Garcia among others are among the nominees for this year’s awards.
Fans can now vote online at almaawards.com for their favorite celebrities nominated for the 2012 NCLR ALMA Awards, which airs September 21 at 8 p.m. on NBC. Voting ends on September 7.
The winners will be determined by evaluating votes cast, box office, Nielsen and Billboard rankings.
